Each mug is thrown in a high fired white stoneware and porcelain blended clay and glazed in our favorite crystalline combo that we call Ocean: copper green, cobalt and navy crystalline glazes. The interior is glazed in a non-crystalline glossy white. Each travel mug comes with a removable and washable black neoprene coffee sleeve to protect your hands from the heat. Lids are a reusable navy silicone made by Porta Via. Each traveler stands about 5" tall and holds around 13.5 ounces - perfect for 12 ounces of coffee with comfortable room for cream and sugar if desired.

Crystalline glazing is so unique from one piece to the next. I formulate all of my glazes used on my wares. While each recipe is repeated, glazes applied in the same way and pieces fired in the same program, all crystal formations are utterly unique. Some pieces are covered in crystals while others may have a smattering. The piece you receive in your order may not look exactly as imaged due to this glazing specialty and especially when there are several glazes combined like these travelers.
